Hey, guys! I wanted to apologize for my silence. I am currently rewriting Softly, Opulent! I had to step back for a while as my dad passed away and it's been very hard on my family. Up until now, I've had little to no motivation to write, and univeristy takes up a lot of my time too. But I really love this story, and I'm going to finish it. You have my word that I will be around more now. And, fingers crossed, I'll drop an update sometime this month. Thank you to everyone that hasn't forgotten about me or this story!

I'm so sorry for your loss. As someone who has lost both their parents, I know what you are going through, and let me tell you one thing: you are going to be okay. It won't feel like it for a while, but little by little, you are going to be okay. And life will not feel the same, but it's okay, nothing's gonna stay the same.
Until then, I hope you give yourself all the time you need to grieve, to rest, and to heal. Be gentle with yourself. Your stories will wait patiently for you, and so will we.
Sorry for your loss. Losing a parent...that's really hard. But I'd be happy to see this continue. Take your time and glad for the future of this wip.

I'm so excited to hear that there will be an update for this game :) I check at least once a month to see if there has been an update. Lucky that I looked only an hour after you posted! From the comments on this IF, I know i'm not the only one.

I'm deeply sorry for your loss. You don't need anyone's permission to take as much time as you need, so here are many hopes that you feel well when you truly can and that you can find happiness in the little things, every day. I will look forward to any updates in the foreseeable future, as I have greatly enjoyed this story. = )
