I think I may have encountered a mistake. When picking my pronouns and title I noticed that you can't mix they/them pronouns with princess or prince and likewise with she/her and him/him pronouns with Prin. It results in a grammatical error that makes it hard to read. It would be cool if we could mix titles and pronouns especially for gender queer persons such as myself : )

This is really amazing so far! I love that there are so many options to help dictate the MCs personality, there have been a lot of games where I found myself faced with choices that didn't suit me, as I've always seemed to lean towards the softer MC type. I appreciate that, just like the lovely person below me has said.
I will say I currently have eyes for Mestrn, he intrigued me upon meeting him.

Just wanted to make my appreciation known for the sadsack, soft, shy MC options lol. I know a lot of people like the coldly cunning or more volatile types, so it's always nice to see devs still adding a variety of roleplaying options for everyone.
I like the idea of an MC who quietly did what she was told in order to survive her abusive upbringing, being cautiously (desperately) optimistic about her new situation. So far, it seems like Abrin was her only comfort at home, so I can imagine how leaving that place could give some amount of relief - although only time will tell whether or not this new place will be a chance at a bit of freedom or another cage like the sister said.
I enjoy having more detached options because I cannot fathom how someone who grew up in an environment like the MC is so easily excepting of strangers. I can't wait to see what else you have planned.
this is truly awesome! can't wait for the next update and all LI's are very likeable and there's a trope for everyone. so far i like calix the best but that's just my opinion :). i'd recommend playing this 100% though it is still in development.

Alexsander caught my interest as I love cracking the ice around cold hearts lol I'm hoping he'll truly fall in love with her as she's had such a sad life :/ I really want these two to fall for each other. Like a slow burn that eventually burns the palace down lol Also hoping we'll be able to absolutely f up her father's and older sisters plans. Abrin being absent makes me think they kept him away on purpose as he would have protested or some such that's what I'm hoping anyway! Eagerly awaiting updates :D
I see I am the only one whose mc isn't ready to trust his future father in-law at the first drop of (feigned) kindness because the way I figure it having suffered under the manipulations of his own sister he knows some people use feigned kindness to deceive too. It is going to take a lot more than what is in the demo to convince my mc this other king means it without ulterior motives.
Which seems kind of hard because the mc is still forced into a marriage they might not want. My mc certainly does not like Alex at this time and the only member of his new family who feels genuine to him at this moment is Calix who is at the moment also the only ro I can see my mc going for, sadly he is the wrong brother. My mc also doesn't want to be a powerless consort as he remembers what that brought his own mother. So mine will be looking for ways to get out from under the arranged marriage.
Although Astrite was not a tutor my mc already despises his new tutors, so I hope there will be options to be more hostile towards them than are currently offered. Since his biggest abuser was his own family's pet mage he'd naturally be ready to despise most mages right now and would resist being taught by another court mage particularly if that tutoring includes magic now.
Big thumbs up for being gay inclusive though and for letting my prince mc romance other boys.
One thing I do not understand is why Barrett consented to marry his heir to the mc in that arranged marriage when mc has better known older brothers, even if Aleks wanted a husband, not a wife, and his dad indulged him that far there seem to have been better options than the mc in that family, including the second youngest brother.
So, the way updates are working right now, it creates an entirely new html file each time the game is updated. This means saves will never transfer because the new html file is not aware of old saves. I don't personally know how to make it *not* do this, but there are plenty of examples so I do know it is possible.
This isn't too bad, but there were several problems with my playthrough. Keep in mind that this is just me speaking of my experience playing an MC the way I wanted/envisioned. I'm not saying all people will feel this way.
I chose to play as a cold male MC, and every stoic choice seems to boil down to 'say nothing, show no expression, and do nothing', which gets old and boring real fast. There is no ability to roleplay 'numbed by the traumatic experience yet harboring deep-seated feelings of hostility toward my family/the world'. And even if you choose the stoic choices the MC still acts like they have absolutely no agency over themselves; they're just 'tired and want to be left alone'. I want my MC to to have cultivated this cold, hard shell, not be completely defeated. Like we're talking, messed in the head to the point where they would murder their family in their sleep if he could, and most certainly will try for some pretty brutal revenge in future, if he can.
There is also no ability to note your interest in someone (like the prince) that fits a stoic character. Like you could be attracted to the prince despite yourself when you first meet him, and not understand what the feeling means, and so feel subconscious anger over the vulnerability. Yet neither of the 'flirt'/romance choices we get each time fit: being shy/flustered/stuttering (which my MC isn't) or actively flirting with him (which my MC definitely wouldn't). It would be nice if there was a more understated way to show my cold MC feels something for the annoyingly attractive prince, even if he really wishes he didn't.
I just found that coming from a position where my (technically, everyone's) MC has not felt any actual love or care since they were six years old, and even been outright mentally and physically abused, the game offers precious little choices that truly reflect how damaged the MC is.

The whole situation about the arranged marriage will be revealed in the story! There is a reason why it was the MC and no longer else.
